Performing Artists for Halifax’s Dîner en Blanc 2017
On Saturday, July 22, 2017 Halifax welcomed over 700 guests to Dîner en Blanc at Kings Wharf in Dartmouth, right down at the Harbour’s edge with a spectacular view of the Halifax skyline.
The night was made still more magical by the talented performers who awed and entertained us – a warm thank you to you all! We are so grateful you could be part of our night.
In order of appearance:
Halifax’s half-pint genre killer is known for her party rocking style and larger-than-her live show energy. Always the innovator and crowd pleaser, Jules has been doing her thing behind the decks for close to a decade, playing shows alongside some of the freshest names in the game from Vancouver to her hometown Halifax. With weekly Halifax residencies at Onyx and The Bitter End, her monthly jams at The CoHo (Queer Pressure) and Lion & Bright, a recent win for 2014 Music Nova Scotia DJ of Year along with being in the middle of her summer tour, Jules shows no signs of slowing down her work hard, play harder ethics.
Atlantic Cirque Ltd. has been in operations as a school of circus arts and an artist agency in Halifax, NS since the summer of 2002. In 2007, we also created a troupe called Cirque Siana. Atlantic Cirque and Cirque Siana presented its first official series of shows "Premiere" at the Alderney Landing Theatre in Halifax in February 2007 (with additional shows in June 2008), to sold out audiences both times. In February 2012, Atlantic Cirque presented DECADE, its 10th anniversary show-series to once again sold out audiences.
Atlantic Cirque has seen a substantial increase in the number of bookings of our artists, and we pride ourselves on inspiring audiences to create a memorable event.
